About Eleanor Pope, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York State. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Macalester College, and a master’s degree in social work from the Columbia University School of Social Work. I worked for many years at the Association to Benefit Children, with children and families facing a wide range of struggles, providing clinical supervision and mentorship for young therapists as well as growing and managing their outpatient mental health clinics. I continued my education at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, receiving intensive supervision in working with couples and families. I am currently training in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) to enhance and deepen my individual work with adults, as well as training in Perinatal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International.
